Erin J. Doyle (Te Whānau-ā-Apanui, Ngāti Porou) was born in Aotearoa New Zealand, and now lives in the United Kingdom. She is a poet and aspiring novelist, writing in genres from creative non-fiction to fantasy. Her debut novel, a contemporary fiction loosely inspired by her adventures hiking across Spain, is currently in the works.

Erin is a full-time student working towards a PhD in microbial ecology and river health.
